Sharing a data set or Workbook with another user is a great way to give access to something that's already been created so others in the organization that would benefit from the information and insights without having to recreate it themselves.

In order to share a Workbook, both the Workbook and relevant data set(s) need to be shared with that user.  Only editors of datasets and Workbooks have permission to share them.

Sharing Workbooks

  1. While viewing a Workbook in either Edit or View modes, click the Sharing tab in the top right of the filter bar.

  2. In the “New Member” field, type in the name or group with whom you want to share the Workbook. Numetric will autofill to users/groups within the organization. If it doesn’t autofill, that person may not have access to Numetric in your organization.  To learn how to add users, please refer to this article.

  3. Choose to give “Editor” or “Viewer” access. For more information on Viewers and Editors, learn more.
