Numetric allows administrators to customize the security settings outlined below.

Sign-ins

The Sign-in settings allow administrators to define key settings related to the sign-in interval for users.

Require Users to Sign in if Duration of Inactivity Exceeds…

Administrators can define the total amount of time a user can remain active and still be logged in to the platform. Administrators can select from a minimum of 1 minute up to 7,300 days. If a user has remained inactive for longer than the defined period, they will be automatically logged out.

Require Users to Sign in Every…

This setting allows admins to designate how frequently a user is required to sign in. Administrators can select from a minimum of 1 minute (not recommended), up to 7,300 days. After the specified time period has passed, a user will be automatically logged out.

Require Users to Change Password Every…

Admins can also set how frequently a user is required to change their password. Administrators can select from a minimum of 1 minute (not recommended), up to 7,300 days. After the specified time period has passed, a user will be prompted to update their password when they log in to the application.

Contact

The contact setting allows administrators to choose the email address that receives lockout/password notifications from users.

Lockouts

The Lockout settings allow administrators to define key settings related to automatically locking out (disabling) user accounts.

Lockout Users if Duration of Inactivity Exceeds…

The setting allows administrators to define a period of inactivity, after which an account will be locked out (locked-out accounts will require administrators to unlock the account before they can log in).

Administrators can select from a minimum of 1 minute of inactivity (not recommended), up to 7,300 days of inactivity. After the specified time period has passed, a user's account will be locked - preventing them from logging in. An administrator will need to unlock an account so the user can log in to the system.

Lockout Users if Failed Login Attempts Exceed…

This setting allows administrators to define the maximum number of failed login attempts before an account is locked down. A failed login attempt occurs when a password is entered incorrectly.

Administrators can define the number of consecutive failed attempts and the time interval, with a minimum of 1 minute and a maximum of 7,300 days.

Alerts

The Alerts setting allows an administrator to subscribe to selected user events. When selected, the administrator will receive email alerts each time a user account is created, modified, disabled, or deleted within the organization.
