In Network Screening - Intersections, all Tennessee intersections follow the same criteria:
Intersection Legs:
Intersection Leg Definition: If the leg is within 50 feet of the center of the intersection, that leg will be included in the intersection.
Lengths of the legs of the intersection are four times the speed limit assigned to each leg.
Minimum/Maximum Intersection Leg Length:
The minimum leg length is 100 feet.
The maximum leg length is 200 feet.
If the leg of one intersection overlapped with the leg of another, the length of the overlapped legs were shortened to half of the length of the overlap.
