In Network Screening - Intersections, all Nebraska intersections follow the same criteria:

Intersection Legs:

  • Intersection Leg Definition: If the leg is within 70 feet of the center of the intersection, that leg will be included in the intersection.

  • Lengths of the legs of the intersection are six times the speed limit assigned to each leg.

  • If the leg of one intersection overlapped with the leg of another, the length of the overlapped legs were shortened to half of the length of the overlap.

Minimum/Maximum Intersection Leg Length:

  • The minimum leg length is 150 feet.

  • The maximum leg length is 400 feet.
