To define intersections in Network Screening - Intersections, Wisconsin DOT provided AASHTOWare Safety with its intersection geometry.

Wisconsin has complex intersections, which are intersections that are made up of more than one junction.

(An example of a complex intersection in Wisconsin)

  • If the leg of one intersection overlapped with the leg of another, the length of the overlapped legs were shortened to half of the length of the overlap.
