To define intersections in Network Screening - Intersections, West Virginia DOT provided AASHTOWare Safety with its intersection geometry.

West Virginia has complex intersections, which are intersections that are made up of more than one junction.

Intersection Leg Length:

  • All intersection legs are 100 feet in length.

  • Intersection legs can overlap with another intersection, meaning a single crash can be assigned to two separate intersections.
