GDOT - How to Identify Crashes on a Bridge

Learn how to select bridges in Crash Query to examine crashes at that location.

The Bridge ID filter allows users to identify crashes on specific bridges in Georgia. The filter pulls the crashes that fall within a generalized polygon. To refine the search follow instructions below.

How to Select Bridges

1. Open Crash Query

2. Select the location of interest using the Bridge ID filter

(Find the Bridge ID filter in the Filter Bar)

(Select the desired Bridge ID and apply the filter)

3. Use the Line Tool to narrow down filtered crashes to those on the bridge.

4. Place the two points along the extents of the bridge.

5. Adjust the mile point extents as needed by editing the values in the filter bar.

(Click the MP value in the filter bar and type in new values to adjust the mile point extents)
