How to Accept the Invitation and Create Your Account
Before you begin: You need an invitation from your agency’s AASHTOWare Safety administrator. If you haven’t received one, contact your administrator to request access.
1. Check the inbox for the email address your invitation was sent to. Look for a message from Numetric Support (support@numetric.com) with the subject line “You’re Invited to AASHTOWare Safety” followed by your agency’s name.
💡Tip: Don’t see it? Check your spam, junk, or quarantine folder. Some agency email filters hold messages from outside senders.
2. Open the email and click the Accept Invitation link. This opens the AASHTOWare Safety Welcome page in your web browser.
💡 Tip: Ensure you’re accessing the software from a supported web browser.

3. Fill in the following fields (numbers match the screenshot below):
(1) First Name – Enter your first name.
(2) Last Name – Enter your last name.
(3) New Password – Create a password. Click Tips for a strong password for guidance; the bar under the field shows your password strength.
(4) Confirm New Password – Re-enter the same password. Click the eye icon to show what you typed if you need to double-check.
(5) Create Account – Click this button once all fields are complete.

Your account is now active, and you can sign in any time using the steps below.
How to Sign in to AASHTOWare Safety
Once your account is created, use these steps whenever you sign in to AASHTOWare Safety or Numetric.
1. Open a supported web browser and go to your agency’s AASHTOWare Safety or Numetric web address. The Welcome Back page appears.
NOTE: The Accept Invitation link in the invite email no longer works.
2. Enter your Email Address (the same one your invitation was sent to).
3. Enter your Password.
4. Click Sign In.

💡 Tip: Bookmark your agency’s sign-in page so it’s easy to find next time.
Troubleshooting
I never received an invitation email.
Check your spam or junk folder first. If it’s not there, ask your administrator to confirm your email address and resend the invitation.
The Accept Invitation link isn’t working.
Ask your administrator to send a new invitation, then use the link in the newest email.
If you've already signed up, the Accept Invitation link no longer works. Navigate to your agency's AASHTOWare Safety URL to sign in.
I forgot my password.
Click Forgot Password? on the Welcome Back page and follow the instructions to reset it.
My account is locked.
