Crash Query - Raw Table

See crash, person, and vehicle records row by row

Written by Lauren Miller

The Raw Table tab lists the records behind your query, one row at a time. Use it to check individual crashes, choose which columns you see, and download the data for use in other tools.

To open it, click Raw Table at the top of the Sidebar. A blue line under the tab shows that you're on the Raw Table.

1 - Include: Clear a row's checkbox to leave that crash out of your query. This works the same way as Exclude this Crash. Select it again to bring the crash back.

2 - Column headers: Click a header to sort by that column.

3 - Rows: Click a row to open its Crash Flyout.

4 - Table: Switch between Crash, Person, and Vehicle records.

5 - Hide/Show Columns: Select which columns appear.

6 - Download: Downloads the table.

7 - Row count: How many rows are showing out of the total, for example "500 of 638,272 rows".

Switch Between Crash, Person, and Vehicle Records

Click the table name in the bottom-left corner (it starts as Crash) and select a table. Person and Vehicle show one row for each person or vehicle in the matching crashes.

Your column choices are saved with this query only. New queries start with the default columns.

Download the Table

  1. Click Download at the bottom of the table.

  2. Click Download in the window that opens. Large files can take a few minutes, so stay on the page until the download finishes.

The download includes only the columns you've added to the table and contains the total rows in the query, not just the 500 visible from the in-app table. The file is a CSV. If your organization has set up XML downloads, you also have the option to select between a CSV and XML download.
