The UD-10 Crash Report is available for any crash of record in the MiCAT system. By default, all users are able to download a “sanitized” UD-10 (all identifiable information redacted). Authorized users will be able to download an “unsanitized” UD-10 (no redacted information).

To request authorization to download “unsanitized” UD-10 records, please contact the Michigan State Police Traffic Crash Reporting team at CrashTCRS@Michigan.gov.

To download a UD-10, follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Login to MSP.Numetric.com

  2. In the Crash Query application, locate the crash for which you would like to download the UD-10. This may involve applying filters to refine the scope of your query. Common filters include Agency (ORI), Cities & Townships (Geo), Counties (Geo), or Crash Date.

  3. Once you have located the crash on the map, click on the crash point to open the Crash Flyout on the right side of the screen.

  4. From the Crash Flyout, under the Files heading, click on the blue Report icon.

This will prompt a download of either the “Sanitized” or “Unsanitized” UD-10 crash report, based on your access rights.

Note: If you need to download a large number of UD-10 reports, you may reach out directly to the Michigan State Police Traffic Crash Reporting team at CrashTCRS@Michigan.gov, they may be able to provide you with a bulk download of the needed UD-10 reports.
